OUR DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTION RECOVERY PHILOSOPHY
Riverbank House Extended Care Recovery Community recognizes that freedom from addiction and self-destruction requires life-long commitment and vigilance. While our substance abuse recovery is founded upon the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, we honor the many-pathways-to-recovery approach endorsed by experts. We stay mindful of our recovery through exploration into the principles of Buddhism; the daily practice of meditation and Yoga; a community code of non-aggression, collaboration, accountability, and mutual respect; self-reflection; and the pursuit of constructive passions.
WHAT WE DO

Alcohol Addiction
If you are struggling with an addiction to alcohol, also known as an alcohol use disorder (AUD), you may feel unable to stop drinking.

Drug Addiction
Facing a drug addiction or substance use disorder can be terrifying. However, it helps to know that you are not alone.

TESTIMONIALS
WHAT CLIENTS SAY ABOUT THE RIVERBANK HOUSE EXTENDED CARE COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE
“Good thorough program with multiple approaches to recovery. 12 step based with alternatives available, such as Buddhism and Yoga. I gained much peace of mind through practicing yoga three times a week in the resident classes, as well as the weekly Buddhism class.”
